ABC shows online in HD
Last night ABC.com launched a new streaming video player using Move Networks technology that allows users to watch all the ABC shows online at full screen, near HD quality.
This technology is a great replacement for Flash video especially in longer form programming like TV shows and movies. You can scrub the timeline and begin playback almost immediately without any buffer time.
What are you waiting for, go re-watch last weeks episode of Lost before tonight’s new episode.

We have a small in house design team, but ABC did this look and feel over a year ago for their Flash player (outsourcing most of the design). I helped them debug some issues they were having with our player running over a Flash page. They actually won an Emmy for the site last year.
Hopefully I’ll be a part of the redesign whenever that happens.

Amazing. I can’t even get a solid audio stream from KSL.com, but I can watch LOST fullscreen with no buffer. I love it. Now I don’t feel like such a geek for not having TiVo.

ABC seems to be having IIS issues. I REALLY wanted to check it out, too.
