Fixed It
Last Summer my trusty camera was hit by a Real soccer ball that jacked the lens up good. I messed with it a little, but the focusing was way off. I had the thought that it could possibly be repaired if I cracked it open, but why risk fixing it when I had the perfect excuse to get a 20D.
Besides, I couldn’t find my mini screwdrivers.
So the other day, I found my mini screwdrivers and had a free hour so I dissected the Fuji FinePix by removing every possible screw. I took out the lens and jimmied with it until it felt like it was back in a groove. Put the thing back together (minus a few screws) and what do you know, it works.
Now I’ve got a nice standby camera that is by no means a pocket camera, but still only half the size of my SLR.
