Tagrolls are del.icio.us
I save (or bookmark) most of the interesting sites and articles to a site called del.icio.us. Del.icio.us is a social bookmarking site that allows you to tag your URL’s with meta information so you can easily organize and find your data.
I’ve been using this service since for 12 months now and have saved 626 URL’s.
Yesterday del.icio.us added a new feature to the site called tagrolls. Tagrolls allows you to place a list or cloud of tags that you’ve used on your posts in a custom made format. Here is my creation:
I think this cloud is a very good representation of what my personal interests are or have been in the past year. With exception to the first item “lagg” (which is a tag used by a group of my friends with similar interests to share links with each other), my top tags are design, flash, web, photography and webdesign. Yeah, that about fits my profile. As opposed to my friend in law school at Chicago whose top tags include, op/ed, george_will, david_brooks, george_bush and charles_krauthammer. Yep, that’s CJ — the Yankees tag was not far behind.
If you’re not using del.icio.us, I recommend getting on. With the new search function, I’m only a few seconds from any page I saved from any computer. Can’t beat that.
